Horiba på besøk til Norge: Et mini-intervju

Samarbeidet mellom Triolab og Horiba startet allerede i 1999, den gangen Triolab het Bergman Diagnostika.
Horiba, som har sitt hovedvirke både i Frankrike og Japan, har gjennom alle år vist en stor interesse for behovene og kravene norsk helsepersonell har til diagnostiske instrumenter. Dette gjør de ved å lytte til tilbakemeldinger Triolab som distributør gir, men også i direkte kontakt med kunder.
I september 2026 kom Lionel Castellane (Horiba France) på et besøk til Norge. Siden han er den nye kontaktpersonen for Triolab hos Horiba, var dette hans første besøk til oss. Med seg hadde han sin kollega Makoto Ishimura (Horiba Japan) og de fikk anledning til flere kundebesøk i primærhelsetjenesten og hos private spesialister.
I dette mini-intervjuet, forteller Lionel litt om sitt første jobbrelaterte besøk til Norge og hvordan han opplevde vårt land og kontakten med helsepersonellet her.
Was this your first visit to Norway? What impression did you get of Norway?
Yes, this was my first business visit to Norway. I was very impressed by the professionalism of the healthcare community, the high level of organization, and the strong focus on quality and patient care. I also greatly appreciated the warm welcome and openness of the people we met.
What impression did you have of the Norwegian healthcare system?
The Norwegian healthcare system appears highly efficient, well-structured, and strongly focused on equal access to healthcare services across the country. What particularly impressed me was the level of laboratory automation and the close collaboration between healthcare professionals and diagnostic providers.

How important are on-site customer visits for HORIBA?
On-site customer visits are extremely important for HORIBA. They help us better understand the daily challenges faced by healthcare professionals, gather valuable feedback, and ensure that our solutions continue to meet the real needs of laboratories and clinicians.
